Each year in August I set aside time to sift through a folder of what I call PS images shot on location for commercial clients. These are not what client’s typically hire me to photograph but I can’t help myself when I see these little vignettes, they are just too perfect to pass up. Whatever time zone I’m in in for any given shoot, I love to see the textures of travel. From the sun bleached walls of a temple in the Western reaches of China’s Taklamakan Desert to the snow-covered limbs of a lake side tree in Connecticut there are striking visual similarities everywhere.
Throughout the good fortune of my travels and clients over the past few year I created mashups of images from all around the world that play well together. Moments of serendipity, enjoy.
